The Apartment

This two bedroom, first floor self-catering maisonette benefits from hot and cold air conditioning, and is available for you to rent in Spain all year round at very reasonable prices - prices start at just £150 per family per week in low season (remember our prices are for the apartment per week, not per person!).  The apartment is tastefully furnished with all mod cons, and comfortably accommodates a family of four.  The apartment has a south facing aspect, and therefore enjoys sunshine all day long.  The accommodation benefits from two sunny terraces. The patio doors in the louge lead onto one and upstairss there is a beautiful roof top solarium with panoramic views to the sea and surrounding countryside.( La Perla is just a 10 minute drive from the town centre of Torrevieja and only a 15 minute leisurely stroll from the sea front. 

A new shopping centre, recently completed, is located just a three minute stroll away, containing Bars, Restaurants, Supermarket, Beauty Salon, Video Rental, and a Bank. Many other shopping facilities are also included.

Also, just a five minute drive away is the new 'Ozone' leisure centre complex, which is situated between the Water Park and the Carrefour Hypermarket, and includes a Bowling Alley with 20 lanes, Pool Hall, Amusement Arcades, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, Casino, Multi-Screen Cinema, Shops, and many Restaurants catering for all tastes. The 'Haberneras' shopping mall is now open, containing many Designer Shops, Bars, Children's Amusement Park, English Book Shop, Sports Shops, Electrical Stores, and a huge underground car park (currently free). All this under one roof!

The name 'Torrevieja' means ancient tower (Torre Vieja, refers to a moorish 'old tower' defence); the town has traditionally been the home of fishermen and salt merchants. It boasts no less than 320 days of sunshine annually, with the lowest winter temperatures averaging 15C. The core attraction is the salt lakes (Laguna de Torrevieja & Laguna de La Mata) which draw the moisture from the air creating a unique microclimate. There is a natural park by the lakes with tracks for walking and cycling and a small visitor centre. The Mediterranean laps stretches of fine sandy beaches which alternate with a series of small rocky coves. Evening walks are always pleasant along the promenades and the part approaching the port has many craft stalls selling jewellery, carvings and leather items and slightly further along there are a wide range of bars and restaurants. The main shopping area is just in from the port near the central church square - Plaza de la Constitucion. The Friday street market is one of the largest in Spain, and takes over most of the town centre. Night life, in various forms, is also there for the taking! The area is quite a Mecca for golfers at all levels with golf courses just a few kilometers from the town centre. Boat trips, fishing and water sports are all available too.
