This very short introduction to the Spanish language is included here to provide you with some basic knowledge of the Spanish language before you embark on your holiday in Spain. You will of course gain additional benefit by purchasing one of the many Spanish phrase books available, but hopefully this will give you a start. Each section has been designed to teach you the literal spelling, and by listening to the sound files, you will also learn the pronunciation of some of the more common words you will come across during your holiday in Spain.
